BAKED LEMON BUTTER COD

Ingredients

4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 lemon, juiced and zested
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Place the cod fillets in a baking dish.
Pour the lemon butter mixture over the cod fillets, making sure they are well coated.
Bake the cod in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top of the cod and serve.
