Never had Himalayan Salt before
I never had Himalayan so take this with a grain of salt. I only got this because I’ve had low sodium in the past&feel like I struggle with it often since I have a lot of trouble eating from being ill. I was afraid I was low on trace minerals,something they would never test for. I got this for health reasons&although I haven’t gotten another blood test yet to see if my sodium levels are up I do believe it helps. I just mix a bit with warm water to drink which is a lot better for me it feels like than regular water because it felt like I just flushed out the little bit I have.Edit: I have quit having this daily since I started eating a bit of food again but my sodium levels were up which was my goal&something I will most def have on a daily basis if I get too sick again

We’ve been using pink Himalayan sea salt for years. It has the best taste of any salt plus it has minerals in it unlike “regular table salt”. This is a great buy. I got the 8 pound bag that’s shown in the photo. The salt is great quality and the bag is resealable too which is convenient.

Seems ok – questionable seal
My first order for this salt was kicked into “undeliverable “ status. Ok, someone musta spilled it. I reordered and got this today. The lid was on super tight and when I got it off, the vacuum seal fell out, was apparently stuffed in the lid along with a piece of cardboard cut to fit the lid. Hopefully not laced with anything- I’m gonna say it tastes like salt- not remarkable. Good price. Hope I don’t die over it. Thanks Himalayan Chef and supplier!

Bell worth the price for the amount you get. Wish I would have known it was so fine. I prefer a larger size. You won’t need salt for a very very long time buying this. For home use.

Small bag, not as large as other brands
Usually this kind of salt comes in a larger bag. There’s nothing wrong with this salt, but I didn’t realize the bag was half the size of other brands I have bought.

Good flavor, but…
Loved the flavor, disliked the container—it allowed air to get in and solidify the salt to where you need to separate with a fork. The item was pictured in a different container and this one did not keep air/moisture out. All in all, I used my previous container which I bought at Costco—so happy I kept the container. It’s all good now.

A little pale. Cheaper at the store. Not sure if all himalayan fine salts are like this. Tastes fine though. I add some in my water after working out. I do feel a difference in whether i take salt after working out or not. This goes with any salt, but himalayan might be better because it has more electrolytes and whatnot

Totally worth the money
I love Himalayan tea, but it can vary so in flavor depending on location and other geological determinates. This salt is the salt I remember from the very first time I tasted this type of salt. It is a nice mixture of the darker pinks and the regular, more pale pinks and has a very robust flavor. I am so glad I opted for the big jar this time. The price is not bad, even thought hey had to go up a bit.. I highly recommend this blend for everyone who loves Himalayan salt.. very robust and delightful.

Worth it’s Salt, hands down.
Swishing heavily with this and chewing raw garlic intermittently has *so far* proven to be stronger than an abscessed tooth. I don’t even mind that roughly 50% of this is actual sand…those extra minerals have to come from somewhere, right?

No salt flavor at all. I don’t get any flavor from this stuff. I have read other reviews that said it was gritty or had an earthy flavor, I’d be happy with that since I get nothing from this stuff.

Great Value and Flavor!
There isn’t really too much to say. It arrived well packaged, and the salt tastes great and lasts awhile along with the amount you get for the cost isn’t a bad deal either. It is very easy to use with adding your own scoop or refilling your shakers or smaller containers. They did change the look of the jar this past order. It used to be shorter and fatter, but this one is more elongated, but still the same size from what I recall. It has been a constant purchase for the past couple of years.

Great Salt. Poor Seal
I wanted to contact the supplier and didn’t know how so I will send the message here. I ordered this Himalayan Salt on Nov. 5 and when it arrived there was salt on the outside of the package. When I opened it, the seal was already partially open (maybe 1/3). Since I wasn’t allowed to return (food item), I called Amazon and Customer Service was great. I got a refund, bought a replacement and tossed the 1st one. The replacement arrived and the seal was much worse than the 1st order. It was barely connected in a couple spots but most of the seal was open. I ended up keeping and using it but the experience was very disappointing. No one has gotten sick so the salt is fine. It’s just a sealing issue. I would love to order again in the future as the price is good and I like the salt but I really don’t like receiving partially-open food containers. According to reviews, I’m not the first one to receive salt from this company in this condition. I would recommend that the sealers make sure there is no salt in the way before gluing the seal to the package. Customers will be much happier with the product.Other than this issue I completely recommend the product.

really a quality product and terrific thoughtful packaging
I grew up paying 19 cents for 2lb box of salt so its weird to pay four bucks, but i don’t mind paying more when something is so much better and proves the old ..you get what you pay for. I like the idea of getting a little iodine from the trad salt, but there’s other neg like bleaching and processing that I’d rather not eat at all. So this salt is minimally processed, has other trace minerals, and seems like what you’d get if you went and dug it yourself. Fresh, sparkly 🙂 and doesn’t have the tongue shock of processed sea salt. The salt is an excellent product and I recommend it highly. I have mild high blood pressure and it’s no problem for my system staying balanced salt-wise. Probably no better or worse, moderation is the key with any salt, but again, a more natural product makes more sense to me. If the sea salt was just evaporated sea water, it’d be fine, but I know it has to be processed which changes it. We’re supposed to eat salt, it’s healthy, but we’re not supposed to eat processed food amap. imho

This product is a great value! My only issue is it’s too coarse to use in a salt shaker but that’s easy to over come. I will be buying again. I recommend putting in a different container as the lid has poor seal and moisture gets in immediately.

Came damp and clumped
I primarily use Himalayan salt as a flavor enhancer. It has become ridiculously expensive in local stores and this seemed to be a fair price. When opening it today I noticed it was clumped together and damp. It obviously will not pour from a salt shaker, which is one of the reasons I bought it.

Well Sealed – Fine Grind
This Himalayan pink salt arrived intact with an outer ring seal, a cap seal that doesn’t stay in the lid and an inner seal that was tight and I had to use an X-Acto knife. Just to clarify condition ion receiving, it was great. Seems to be a good fine grind salt, which is perfect for bathing and creating a body glow scrub for summer.
